UA Students Participate in Summer 2018 Cooperative Education
Nearly 250 University of Alabama students are receiving hands-on, innovative and advanced educational experience with dozens of companies and organizations across the United States through UA's Cooperative Education Program for summer 2018. In the Cooperative Education Program, students alternate periods of full-time study with periods of full-time employment. This program offers work related to the academic major or career interests of each student, experience that enhances the students' employment prospects after graduation. While in school, students carry regular course schedules. While on co-op, they work with professionals in their fields who supervise their training and work. At work, co-op students earn competitive salaries and may receive benefit packages in addition to valuable job experience. Participants maintain their full-time student status while at work and have priority registration status each semester through graduation.

The deans of each of UNG's five colleges - the College of Arts & Letters, the College of Education, the College of Health Sciences & Professions, the Mike Cottrell College of Business, and the College of Science & Mathematics - announced the names of those students who made their respective lists for spring 2018. Campbellsville University graduates record number of graduates in May at 700; 1,013 for academic year
"Because I cannot add years to my life, I want to add life to my years. If I am not able to do anything about the length of my life, I can do something about its breadth and depth," Dr. E. Bruce Heilman, 92, chancellor at the University of Richmond in Virginia told Campbellsville University graduates in his commencement address Saturday, May 12. "The most important day in an institution is commencement. This is one of those days you will always remember. My heart is full of thankfulness and humbled by your accomplishments. We are very proud of you," Dr. Michael V. Carter, in his 19th year as president, told 700 students, a record, in four ceremonies on May 11 and 12. Also, a record number of 1,013 students graduated during the 2017-18 academic year. Carter said Campbellsville University has also set a record enrollment of more than 10,000 students, and students graduating from CU have the lowest student debt of any public or private institution in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

BFSDoArt announces 'Form & Content' winners
The Georgia Southern University Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art (BFSDoArt) is presenting its annual Form & Content Exhibition at the Center for Art & Theatre's University Gallery on the Statesboro Campus March 30 - April 6. "Form & Content" features Art Foundations-level student work from classes Drawing I, 2D Design, 3D Design and Digital Foundations. The exhibition was juried by Michael Marks, an associate professor at the South Carolina School of the Arts at Anderson University. Winners were announced at a reception on March 30. Madison Pleasant was awarded First Place. Second Place was awarded to Brandon Narsing and Olivia Mainor received Third Place. Tanner Maxey received the Juror's Choice award. Morgan Carr and Peyton Butts each received Honorable Mentions. BFSDoArt celebrates scholarship and award recipients
Donors, faculty, staff, students and friends of the Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art (BFSDoArt) gathered Friday, March 30, to honor the Statesboro Campus undergraduate and graduate scholarship and award recipients for the 2018-19 academic year. During a ceremony at the Georgia Southern University Center for Art & Theatre in Statesboro, these students were recognized for their outstanding achievements, hard work and dedication. The students will have the opportunity to share their work in the department's annual Ovation exhibition in the fall. Two College of the Arts graduates recognized by national publication
Two graduates of Kennesaw State University's College of the Arts have been named to Graphic Design USA's "Students to Watch 2018" list. Audrey Arnold and Katie Vines were among 75 students from universities throughout the U.S. named to GDUSA's annual list. Both women were nominated by faculty in the College's School of Art and Design at Kennesaw State.
